MARY A. MOLLOY

Mary began her career in 1974 as a Junior High, High School and College Math Teacher. In 1976, Mary joined IBM and became the first woman to successfully sell computers for IBM in the New York Garment District. After receiving many sales recognition awards and selling computers to dozens of manufacturing/distribution companies, IBM made a training video of Mary's sales techniques and showed it to 2,000 Marketing Reps at IBM's 1978 One Hundred Percent Club. Mary has run two successful Software Companies and has worked with hundreds of manufacturing/distribution companies in these capacities.

In 1984, Digital Equipment Corporation recruited Mary to run their premiere Sales School and to train their Sales force. Between 1984 and 1986, Mary personally trained 500 Digital Sales Reps on Sales Skills and trained 8 people to be Course Managers who ultimately trained the entire Digital Sales force on Advanced Selling Skills. Mary received Digital's Instructor Excellence Award in 1986 and was named "Woman of the Year" by the New Hampshire YWCA in 1987. In 1987, Mary assumed responsibility to lead a group of people to train the entire Digital Sales force on Digital's Industry/Application Solutions.

Mary held several senior Marketing positions within Digital, one of which was the Planning Manager for the Information Systems and Applications Marketing Group (a 500 person organization). In 1990, Mary was responsible for 25% of DECworld '90, which was Digital's most important trade show. In this capacity, Mary led an 1100 person organization to provide content and demonstrations of Digital's Information Systems Solutions to 40,000 customers. She received Digital's Marketing Leadership Award for her DECworld results.
